BIOGRAPHY

Kaylee Mae Hofman is a singer, dancer, actress, entertainer, and full-time music teacher.

She graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2018 with her BA in Music Performance with a concentration in Jazz Vocals. She also studied Early Childhood Education as a minor field, due to her interest in early childhood development and the causal relationship between music and the developing brain.

Since College, she has been teaching private voice lessons and has worked as a general music teacher, choreographer, youth theater director, theater assistant director, ukulele teacher, piano teacher, preschool teacher, "diverseabilities" music teacher, and an entertainer. She currently sings with a jazz guitarist in cocktail lounges and performs with and without band mates for weddings, corporate events, and private parties.

She most recently graduated with her MA degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University in Fall, 2022 and works as a music director at a private early childhood center.

"We hired Kaylee to lead a mini-music class at the birthday for our 2-year-old. There were about 20 kids there, ranging from 2-5. All kids were engaged, and she even found special ways to connect with to the older kids to participate. Her communication leading up to the party was professional and helpful, and she even helped to wrangle the kids (and adults) during the party's transition. Every parent in the room wanted her contact information! We would hire her again in a heartbeat -- and plan to! -- for future birthday parties and private lessons."
